Neuroethics is a fascinating subset of bioethics that emerged with an increase in knowledge in the field of neuroscience. As we improve our understanding of how the brain works, questions about how we use this information necessarily arise. In an effort to answer some of these questions, neuroethics explores the philosophical, ethical, legal, and social implications of neuroscience, as well as broader issues that stem from our expanding insight into memory, consciousness, and personal identity. Our research seeks to apply our expertise in medical ethics and policy issues to the growing field of neuroethics.
