About Us
The Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology at Baylor College of Medicine has established itself as a leader in drug discovery, design, and delivery by creating innovative approaches to translate basic science research into therapeutic applications. Our research interests include chemical biology, drug delivery, drug discovery, computational biology, molecular genetics and genomics, protein design, protein structure, function and evolution and psychopharmacology. Our faculty mentor graduate and postdoctoral students to become scientists and physicians ready to translate results from basic research to clinical application.
Chemical Biology
Dr. Jin Wang's lab creates quantitative real-time imaging of glutathione.
Structural Biology
Dr. Choel Kim's lab looks into the crystal structure of PKG I:cGMP complex.
