Professional Statement

Grace was born in Beijing, China and moved to Austin, TX when she was 1.5 years old. She stayed in Austin through college (go Horns!) before she finally ventured 180 miles southeast to Houston, TX for medical school and residency.

She has called Houston home for over 6 years now and despite her initial skepticism, has grown to appreciate all that Houston has to offer. Houston is one of the most diverse cities in the US, offering both amazing training experiences and delicious food.

While still undecided about pursing fellowship after residency, Grace ultimately hopes to work abroad in underserved areas and is certain that her med-peds training at Baylor will prepare her well for this endeavor.
