If You Think You Have Symptoms of COVID-19

If you think you have symptoms of COVID-19, call your personal physician for initial screening.

If you have symptoms and think you may have in contact with a COVID-19 patient in a clinical setting while working, please contact the Occupational Health Program.

Steps to follow if you do not have a primary care physician:

Schedule a virtual visit:

For students enrolled in the Student Insurance Plan, downloading the MDLIVE app will provide access to live consultation with an MDLIVE doctor for nonemergency medical needs. View this video to learn more. View more details and instructions on how to schedule a virtual visit.

For residents, fellows, postdocs, faculty and staff who are enrolled in a BCM healthcare plan, Virtual Visits providers Teladoc, AmWell and Doctor On Demand are prepared to help guide you and your covered dependents who think they may have been infected by COVID-19. Well-Being Index

The College has partnered with MedEd Solutions to offer the Well-Being Index (WBI), a brief nine-question, validated, online self-assessment that provides immediate individualized feedback, tools and national/local resources to support well-being.

Baylor College of Medicine has developed a menu of options to assist students, trainees, staff, and faculty with coping during trying times. The Mental Health and Wellness Program at BCM services are completely private and confidential.
