Students for a National Health Program (SNaHP)

The United States’ private insurance system alienates health professionals and impoverishes patients. It drives up costs and creates obstacles for caregivers, all while leaving nearly 30 million Americans uninsured. Students for a National Health Program (SNaHP) advocates for the creation of a federally funded, single-payer health program that guarantees universal access to care.

Our chapter of SNaHP provides education about single-payer, hosts speakers from our parent organization, Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP), and creates networking opportunities with other SNaHP chapters from around the country to connect a new generation of leaders in health-equity reform.
