MPA from Oakland University

My career as a higher education professional began during my undergraduate years as a resident assistant in University Housing. I continued my experience in university administration, taking on various roles as a coordinator, manager, and director in Student Services and Academic Affairs.
In partnership with Houston Community College, I assisted with the establishment of an American-styled college in Qatar. During the six years living abroad, I taught government classes as an Adjunct Instructor and was given the opportunity to visit over twenty countries. While working amongst a diverse community, I expanded my knowledge and learned about the different education systems, cultures, and language.
At Baylor College of Medicine’s Department of Education, Innovation and Technology (EIT), I utilize my experience and skills in my role as a Senior Program Manager to lead, create, and facilitate. In addition, my responsibilities include project and program management, event planning and supporting, as well as, engaging faculty, staff, and students with EIT's mission and strategic goals.
