About Us
Baylor Global Health was established in July 2014 as the Baylor Center for Globalization, an administrative division, governing all of Baylor College of Medicine’s international programs and initiatives to make meaningful and lasting contributions to healthcare through innovation and research, training, and patient care. As “global is local and local is global,” Baylor Global Health focuses on innovative research and technology to reduce global health disparities, expand healthcare access, and innovate healthcare solutions that improve survival especially in low-and middle-income countries (LMICs). Baylor Global Health is “Caring for our Local, National, and Global Communities.”
