Syphilis

1st stage: About one to twelve weeks after sex, painless sore(s) on or near genitals, anus or mouth; lasts two to six weeks then goes away.

2nd stage: Symptoms show up as/after sore heals, rash on hands, feet or other body parts; may come and go over one to two years, rash and flu go away but infection remains.

Damage to heart, brain. Blindness. Mental illness. Death.

Syphilis can be cured with antibiotics, but damage may be permanent.
