The Division of Psychology in the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine, in partnership with Texas Children’s Hospital, includes several specialty groups dedicated to the assessment, treatment, and prevention of child cognitive, behavioral or mental health disorders.

The division’s licensed psychologists and other behavioral health clinicians provide a range of specialty care through the Texas Children’s Psychology Service.

The Texas Children’s Psychology Service’s clinical programs focus on:

  • Emotional and Behavioral Adjustment to Acute and Chronic Medical Illnesses
  • Neuropsychological Evaluations
  • Disruptive Behavior in Preschoolers
  • Obsessive-Compulsive and Anxiety Disorders
  • Trauma and Grief

Psychological services also are provided by Psychology Division psychologists within the Texas Children’s Autism Center, Adolescent Medicine, Renal (Kidney), and Pain Medicine Services, as well as through Community partnerships with the Texas Children’s Health Plan Centers for Children and Women , Texas Children’s Palm Center, and select Texas Children’s Pediatrics practices.
