At Baylor Medicine, our critical care team treats patients who need advanced monitoring and observation. Our team focuses on multidisciplinary around-the-clock, quaternary, and tertiary care for all critically ill patients.

We strive to deliver high-quality care through physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), nurses, and other medical professionals. This approach will provide the patients with the utmost level of care. Critical care team members are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure we are available to diagnose and treat patients with any complications that can develop.

We have expanded the number of critical care faculty to address the increasing demands related to the COVID-19 pandemic and created outpatient clinics to provide long-term care for covid patients with Post Covid and Clinic at Home programs.

Here at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center MICU, we specialize in the diagnostics and treatment of emergency surgeries, traumatic injuries, burn and wound care, and critical care.
