Image showing fluorescence and bioluminescence for both in vitro and ex vivo applications.

The IVIS lumina III images fluorescence and bioluminescence for both in vitro and ex vivo applications. The instrument is equipped with seven emission filters that allow it to image reporters emitting from green to near-infrared, with the option of adding up to 26 emission filters. Spectral unmixing can be achieved by Lumina III’s optional high-resolution short cut off filters. This IVIS provides an excellent complimentary imaging capability for the chorioallantoic membrane (CAM) model that is both reliable and quantitative.

The GentleMACS Octo Dissociator with heaters offers a unique design for the dissociation of tissues to obtain either organoid-like or single cell suspensions using proprietary C tubes or complete tissue homogenization using M tubes. This instrument along with specialized C tube attachments offer a unique rotor/stator system for gentle and efficient dissociation or homogenization. The design of the tubes coupled with the instruments’ heaters offer a fully automated and closed system for tissue dissociation or homogenization. The GentleMACS is available for use in our Core facility on a fee-for-service basis.
