The aim of this day is to showcase the research that is being done at Harris Health and Baylor College of Medicine and to foster an environment of collaboration, accomplishments, and inspiration.
The top 3 scoring posters in each category will be awarded a prize during the noon - 1 p.m. hour on Research Day, May 30, 2023 at Ben Taub OR patient holding area, 2nd floor near the Purple elevators.

Poster Presentations
All participants are required to upload a 3-5 narrative recording of their poster on VoiceThread. (This is expected to take 10 minutes.)
- All posters should also be printed and displayed on Research Day at Ben Taub in the OR patient holding area, 2nd floor near the Purple elevators.
- All poster and voicethreads must be uploaded by Friday, May 26.
- All who have met the deadlines will be considered for judging. Any late uploads or recordings will not be considered for judging but can still be displayed.
- You or a designee must be present in person on Research Day during the 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. hour for judging.

VoiceThread Poster Design
- Prepare your cover slide (1 page) using appropriate software (e.g., Power Point): State the name and add a professional photo of the first author (if equal authorship: photos of all equally contributing authors), yet not of any co-authors or trainees
- Once the cover slide is ready, upload the slide to VoiceThread as page 1 of your presentation
- Once your poster slide (1 page) is ready, upload the slide to VoiceThread as page 2 of your presentation
- Optional: upload your abstract as page 3 of your presentation
Poster printing
All poster printing can be completed by BCM Graphic Communications. You will go to BCMprint.org and upload your poster using their online request form. BCM Graphics is aware of the increased poster printing demand for this event. The deadline to submit your poster to BCM Graphics is no later than May 24, 2023.
