Neuropsychology is a specialty discipline that studies brain-behavior relationships to understand how the brain functions. Clinical neuropsychologists objectively test thinking, learning and remembering, problem solving, and emotions. Through detailed assessments, a pattern of strengths and weaknesses can be used to aid diagnosis and treatment planning.

The Section of Neuropsychology in the Department of Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine is dedicated to providing comprehensive neuropsychological clinical and research services to support the Baylor faculty and outside referral sources and to provide training opportunities for interns, fellows, and residents.
