Clinical Chemistry Fellowship Admissions


Applicant Information


This is a ComACC accredited fellowship program

Program Requirements:

To be considered for the program, prospective fellows must have:

  • Doctoral or medical degree(s) in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, medicine, pathology, pathobiology or pharmacology from an accredited university.
  • If a candidate’s academic credentials are obtained outside the United States, they must be deemed equivalent by an appropriate education evaluation agency.
  • Minimum of 30 semester hours (undergraduate or graduate level) of coursework in analytical, inorganic, organic, physical, and biochemistry to qualify for certification by the ABCC.

To Apply:

Applications must be sent by email to the program director (Sridevi Devaraj) and coordinator (Rosario Guzman). The deadline for application is Sept. 30 to apply for a fellowship position starting on Aug. 1 of the following year. One fellow is admitted each year to the program.

The application packet must include:

  • Letter of intent
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Contact information for three references
