Didactic conferences are held every weekday at 7 a.m. at one our affiliate hospitals in the Texas Medical Center.

  • Monday – Head and Neck Tumors, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center
  • Tuesday – Neurointerventional, Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center
  • Wednesday – General/Neuro-ophthalmology/ENT, Houston Methodist Hospital
  • Thursday – Pediatrics, Texas Children's Hospital
  • Friday – Journal Club, Neurosurgery, General, QA or Case Conferences (rotating), Ben Taub or Houston Methodist Hospital

Our fellows are asked to produce at least one publication during their year as a fellow. This can be a poster or an educational exhibit presented at a national meeting, or a publication in peer-reviewed journal. Those with a special interest in research will find ample opportunity to work with mentors throughout the Texas Medical Center.
