Perhaps no other class is more ready to heed these words than this year’s group of graduates, who during their training have faced a major hurricane in Houston and, now, a global pandemic. As a graduate school within a leading medical school, students receive rigorous scientific training in basic, translational and clinical sciences while maintaining a focus on how discoveries impact human health.
