Feb. 24, 20242024 HLSR Rodeo RunJoin Baylor Medicine at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo for the annual Rodeo Run at 8 a.m. Feb. 24. The event will kick off with a wheelchair race, followed by the 5K and 10K. The run precedes the Downtown Rodeo Parade and a post-race party near Eleanor Tinsley Park on Allen Parkway. Proceeds from the race benefit the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.Register here.

OngoingChildhood Obesity StudyParticipants are needed for a Phase 1 clinical trial to evaluate the safety and tolerability of Tirzepatide for the treatment of childhood obesity. Participants should have a BMI that falls above or equal to the 95th percentile, but whose maximum weight is below 110.23 lbs. Participants contribute to finding new solutions for managing childhood obesity and its associated health risks and will receive free support sessions and compensation of up to $1,400 over 14 to 18 weeks.
