M.D./M.P.H. Program Admissions

Prospective students must separately apply and be admitted to both the Baylor College of Medicine M.D. program and UTHealth School of Public Health.

Five-Year M.D./M.P.H.

Applicants may either apply simultaneously to both schools or apply initially only to the School of Medicine and apply to UTHealth School of Public Health during the first two years of medical school. Students must be in good academic standing prior to entering the dual degree program.

Four-Year M.D./M.P.H.

Applicants must apply to the UTHealth School of Public Health the spring prior to starting BCM medical school in order to complete at least six MPH credit hours prior to staring medical school classes.
