Timothy Palzkill Lab

The primary focus of the Palzkill Lab is understanding the molecular basis of antibiotic resistance, development of small molecule inhibitors of antibiotic resistance enzymes, development of Norovirus diagnostic tools and therapeutics, and understanding molecular recognition in protein-protein interactions. To investigate these and other diverse projects currently underway in the lab, various tools such as phage display, next-generation DNA sequencing, molecular libraries, DNA-encoded chemical libraries, chemical synthesis, protein purification, enzyme kinetics, and X-Ray crystallography are used.
