Tough Beans Alumni Case Conference

Content

Tough Beans is a clinical case conference open to all Baylor College of Medicine faculty, fellows, and alumni. It occurs on the first or second Monday of each month at 5 p.m. Central Time. The cases are either prepared by fellow with faculty supervision, or contributed by any audience member. The goal is to promote group learning of clinical cases and broaden knowledge basis of nephrology by interactive discussions. Important take home messages from the discussion are summarized and forwarded to the audience after each conference. The conference is strongly supported by experienced faculty members dedicated in teaching and has served as an important educational platform for fellows.

Networking with alumni in this virtual format is important for both trainees and faculty.
