Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Eligible candidates must be US citizens who have obtained a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA accredited institution and who have completed an APA accredited internship. Successful applicants typically have acquired training focused in neuropsychology at the graduate school and internship levels, and have often (though not always) chosen a dissertation project pertinent to clinical neuropsychology or rehabilitation psychology. Clinical experiences in an inpatient rehabilitation setting are a strength, but not a requirement.

**As a member of APPCN, our program participates in the annual neuropsychology postdoctoral match through National Matching Services. Applicants must register with NMS to participate in the match. Our program abides by APPCN policy that no person associated with TIRR MH/BCM will solicit, accept, or use any ranking-related information from any residency applicant, except when certain exceptions apply (please, review the APPCN Match Policies for further details). TIRR MH/BCM is an Equal Opportunity employer. We encourage applications from members of minority and underrepresented groups in professional neuropsychology.

Our APPCN match program code is 9801.

In compliance with APPCN guidelines, all individuals who complete a full application will be notified of their interview status in a timely manner.

It is unclear at this time if INS 2021 in San Diego will continue as planned. Given the continuing uncertainty, TIRR/BCM will plan to conduct interviews remotely, in line with recommendations from the Association of Postdoctoral Programs in Clinical Neuropsychology (APPCN) regarding the 2020-2021 interview season related to COVID-19. If the conference is not cancelled, remote interviews will continue to be an option for all applicants. We will also offer the opportunity for applicants to talk with additional faculty over the phone about rotations of interest. Other aspects of the recruitment process, particularly the submission of application materials and match, will continue as they have in other years.
