We passionately believe in training our nation’s growing Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Faculty; our goal is to graduate skilled physicians that will be able to practice in any setting that they choose. Our program offers a well-rounded education that includes the following: medical and surgical spasticity management, interdisciplinary care management, inpatient rehabilitation, intensive outpatient rehabilitation, multidisciplinary clinics, gait lab access and so much more. The clinical education of our fellows is equally as important as their personal and professional development, and we encourage a varied training and clinical atmosphere supported by our institution and incredible city. We also believe in the importance of not just diversity, but also of inclusion, creating a safe and respectful space that allows us to maintain our diversity of thoughts, opinions, and experiences. We have truly grown and flourished through the different perspectives that each person brings and feel that is reflected in our faculty and staff.
We look forward to welcoming you to Houston and to the BCM/TCH Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Fellowship.
Sincerely,
Unoma Akamagwuna, M.D.
