Professional Statement
From the beginning of my career as an Orthopaedic Surgeon, my goal was not just having patients but patient-friends. It is this relationship that allows a better understanding of our patients' needs, as well as expectations, and help us make appropriate treatment decisions. Patient safety is another standard that guides my practice. With an explosion of new medical and surgical technologies it is easy for our patients to be tempted by the "latest and the greatest", reported by news or social media. Unfortunately, these techniques do not always deliver the expected results or even worse, they can potentially harm. Without rejecting emerging medical innovations, I feel that we should maintain a critical attitude towards them and offer to our patients time tested and proven treatment options.Websites
