Professional Statement
Dr. Ashley Roark is a radiologist at Baylor College of Medicine with specialized training in breast imaging. Her areas of expertise include the interpretation of mammography, breast ultrasound and breast MRI as well as performing interventional breast procedures. A proponent of patient-centered, multidisciplinary care, Dr. Roark works closely with colleagues in breast oncology, surgery and pathology to provide the highest level of personalized care for her patients. As clinical faculty at Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Roark sees patients at the Lester and Sue Smith Breast Center at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center McNair campus as well as the Smith Clinic under the Harris Health System, where she serves as medical director of breast imaging.Dr. Roark is also engaged in medical student and radiology resident education. As a former BCM trainee, she is personally invested in high-quality education for future generations of physicians. Dr. Roark also serves as an at-large member of the BCM Faculty Senate.
