Professional Statement
As a Health Professions Educator, I aim to cultivate the personal and professional identity of learners as they connect their initial calling to enter medicine into careers as clinical providers. My passion is to develop innovative curriculum that is founded in best practices, supports an inclusive educational design, and contextualized to the learning environment. As the Ambassador for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Department of Education, Innovation, and Technology, I aim to support equitable and inclusive educational frameworks and curriculum in psychologically safe learning environments. I am committed to advocate and mentor trainees as they navigate their career journey. As a qualitative researcher, my focus is on understanding how to support inclusive learning environments through interconnectivity for individuals and health systems.Websites
