Professional Statement
Brittany Rhoades, PhD, APRN is a Clinical Nurse Specialist with a focus on cardiothoracic surgery. In addition to clinical practice, she is passionate about qualitative research. Prior clinical background includes heart failure, cardiac transplantation, mechanical circulatory support devices, and qualitative research in which she distinguished herself as a clinical expert for Advanced Practice Providers through maintaining and disseminating an outstanding level of knowledge in the field of advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology, promoting research and evidence-based practice. In addition to her organizational involvement, Brittany has served in leadership roles for various professional organizations. She is currently serving on the NACNS Research, EBP, and Scholarship Committee and as the Texas Clinical Nurse Specialist Research Committee Chair.Websites
