Professional Statement
The care of patients with congenital heart disease for cardiac and non-cardiac procedures is a continuously evolving science. My interest in the field guided my training, research and clinical work for the past 20 years. Neonates and infants with congenital heart defects and their families seek care in the best centers and place their trust in the perioperative care team. That is a responsibility that requires a lifetime commitment and a constant pursuit of excellence. The most important areas of interest include peri-operative coagulation management, neuromonitoring and the application of transesophageal echocardiography for the diagnosis and management of children and adults with congenital heart disease.Websites
