Professional Statement
During my almost 14 years working at Texas Children’s Hospital, I have witnessed tremendous growth of our Interventional Radiology section and I take great pride in having actively participated in its development. We have grown not only in number but also in complexity of procedures performed. As the most experienced member of the group, I have pioneered and performed every IR procedure performed nationally here at TCH. I work closely with almost all of the surgical and clinical services in the hospital. We are key participants in the multidisciplinary management of complex patients in the surgical and clinical services. My continued passions lie in promoting quality control for complex procedures in pediatric IR, continuing multidisciplinary care for IR patients, and nurturing the collaborations pediatric IR has formed with the surgical and medical departments at Texas Children’s Hospital.Websites
