Professional Statement
I am a Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Baylor College of Medicine. My research and clinical interests have focused on sleep disorders. The field of sleep encompasses multiple realms of science. Sleep disorders not only span through medicine and psychology, but through technology which allows us to quantify and qualify features of sleep to better understand both the objective and subjective nature of sleep. It is these eclectic and broadly scientific qualities of sleep that has driven my involvement and work in sleep for over 25 years. Over the course of my academic career I have published several peer review articles, written book chapters, lectured both nationally and regionally, and been involved in several sleep organizations. I have participated in numerous research projects and received grants related to sleep.Websites
