Masih Ahmed, MD is an ophthalmologist specializing in LASIK, cataract, and corneal surgery. He completed his residency in Ophthalmology at West Virginia University, where he served as chief resident. He followed this with a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery at the Cullen Eye Institute at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM).Dr. Ahmed follows this by staying on faculty at the Cullen Eye Institute at Baylor College of Medicine. His clinical interests include LASIK and cataract surgery, including premium surgery offerings. He also specializes in the treatment of corneal diseases such as dry eye, keratoconus, corneal infections and corneal transplantation. He is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the Cornea Society and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. His research interests include access to care and ophthalmological training intiatives. He has authored several articles and is actively involved in resident/fellow education. Dr. Ahmed serves as the Residency Program Director for Ophthalmology at Baylor. Dr. Ahmed's main goal is to help his patients restore their vision and regain their quality of life.
