Professional Statement
Dr Peter R Ermis has been a Baylor College of Medicine faculty member since 2014 after completing his combined internal medicine-pediatrics residency at the Baylor Affiliated Hospitals and his combined adult and pediatric cardiology fellowships at the Texas Heart Institute and Texas Children's Hospital. He has published on clinical outcomes in adult congenital heart disease, including aspects of imaging, interventional procedures, advanced heart failure, and electrophysiology. His clinical interests include stress echocardiography in the adult congenital patient, particularly those with coronary artery manipulation. His administrative goal is to improve the transition process for patients with adult congenital heart disease.He is a native Houstonian and an avid Rice baseball fan.
