Dr. Yusuf is a pediatric generalist who came to Baylor College of Medicine in 2004 after completing her residency in Pediatrics at the State University of New York at Buffalo. She has worked in the Emergency center at TCH and Ben Taub as well as inpatient and observation areas of TCH. Currently, she practices at the TCH Emergency Center. Additionally, she has a master's in education and as a clinician-educator is heavily involved in bedside teaching, didactic and large group teaching, mentoring and educational leadership. She is an active member on regional and national committees in the area of medical education and injury prevention. Additionally, she serves as a board member on Pediatrics in Review, member of AAP NCE Planning group, and PAS program committee member. She also co-chairs TPS Injury Prevention committee. She also involved with the AAP COIVPP and has worked drowning prevention AAP policy statements and other national injury prevention activities.Websites
