- The project will involve developing and evaluating an internet-delivered form of parent-led, therapist-assisted cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, available both in English and Spanish.
- A Randomized Trial of Varying Intensities of Parent-Led Cognitive Behavioral Teletherapy for Anxiety in Youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder - #21270
- $300,000.00 (02/25/2019 - 12/31/2020) Grant funding from Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board
- This project aims to improve access to anxiety-focused Parent-Led Therapist-Assisted CBT for parents of youth with ASD. Key goals include evaluating the effectiveness of two models of telehealth PLTA treatment delivery, determining for whom each treatment option works best, understanding parental treatment preferences, and examining cost-effectiveness of the interventions.
- Deep Phenotypic Characterization of Misophonia in Children and Adolescents Grant funding from The Misophonia Research Fund
- The study will perform multimethod deep phenotyping assessment mapping onto RDoC domains to identify the characteristics, bio-psychosocial determinants, and sub-types of Misophonia in youth.
