About the Lab
The Teng lab is a dynamic interdisciplinary research group that employs medicinal chemistry, chemical biology, and molecular cell biology to drive early-stage drug discovery, with a primary focus on deciphering key targets linked to cancer. Our mission is to address fundamental questions in cancer chemical biology and translate these findings into innovative cancer therapies for the benefit of patients. Our research involves the development of mechanistically unique and target-specific chemical probes that offer clear pharmacological insights. Our work encompasses a broad range of molecular mechanisms of action, spanning covalent inhibitors, allosteric inhibitors, enzyme activators, protein (or protein complex) stabilizers, and protein degraders.
