About the Lab
The Rider Lab (CHILI – Computational Human Immunology Lab and Innovation hub) is focused on leveraging data science and computational methods to glean insights from large healthcare datasets. We aim to advance patient care, quality, safety and drive new healthcare insights from data.
Projects
- Use of The Software for Primary Immunodeficiency Recognition, Intervention and Tracking algorithm to assess risk of Texas Children’s Health Plan members for susceptibility to infection.
- Probabilistic modeling infection susceptibility risk using structured EHR data.
- Deep learning approaches for extracting clinical concepts from EHR text.
- COVID-19 population health impacts – extracting inferences from large public datasets.
