The Preliminary Medicine Intern year is a robust internal medicine training experience for residents moving on to other specialties in PGY2 year. Prelim interns are fully integrated into the internal medicine residency with access to all rotations, mentorship opportunities, and extracurricular experiences. We work with our prelim interns to allow completion of Step 3 and transition to their subspecialty programs at the end of the year.
