Two hours to visit hands-on skills stations (25 minutes at each station)

  • A. Warmer/delivery and equipment check/set up
  • B. Nuances of BCPAP and maintaining skin integrity
  • C. Setting up vents/modes (including NIPPV)
  • D. Surfactant delivery (LISA, ENSURE)
  • E. Standardized ETT securement
3:30 p.m.Turn in Evaluations, Pick Up CE Certificate

Aim:

To provide neonatology-targeted education, including Continuing Education Credits for RTs at Community Hospitals in order to improve the respiratory care of newborns at these hospitals.

Target Audience:

Respiratory Therapists (RT), and RT trainees from Community Hospital Sites.
