Psychology Fellowship Admissions


How to Apply


We will begin accepting applications Nov. 1, 2022. Applicants must be graduates from APA- or CPA-Accredited Counseling or Clinical Psychology Ph.D. or Psy.D. training programs. Applicants must complete all doctoral degree requirements by Sept. 1, 2023, including dissertation. U.S. citizenship is not a requirement for the fellowship. 

The deadline for applications is Jan. 3, 2023 (11:59PM CST). We will send interview invitations by Jan. 13, 2023. We will begin interviewing applicants in mid-January. Due to COVID-19 constraints, interviews will be held over Zoom. We will be adhering to the APPIC Postdoctoral Selection Standards and Common Hold Date (CHD) Guidelines for the selection of the 2023-2024 class. The CHD is Feb. 27, 2023. 

The fellowship begins Sept. 1, 2023 and ends Aug. 31, 2024. If fellow is hired, please be available a month in advance before the start of your fellowship to complete on-boarding and credentialing process. Application must be submitted through APPA CAS system. Applicants are required to submit a cover letter, CV, and three letters of recommendation.
