Our residency offers the opportunity for residents who envision robotic surgery to become daVinci Robot Certified.
This curriculum includes:
- Completion of the online daVinci system online training modules
- In person hands-on in-service with a daVinci representative
- Completion of modules on the daVinci simulator
- Collection of cases (10 bedside assist, 20 primary surgeon)
At the conclusion of residency training, if all the requirements are met, the resident will receive a daVinci System Training Equivalency Certificate, which can be submitted as proof of proficiency when applying for hospital privileges.
