News and Information Services
The Office of Communications and Community Outreach is the information hub for the College. We produce press releases and other materials for the news media and respond to media requests. We assist members of the campus community in sharing their news through newsletters and our blog network. Responsibilities range from managing the College’s internal and external web presence to social media. We uphold branding standards, develop and implement strategic communication plans, provide graphic services, and coordinate internal communications. How can we assist you?
Web Management
Institutional Web Management is responsible for the overall strategy, policies, editorial guidelines and web content for both public and internal websites. Individuals wishing to develop a website should contact pa-webteam@bcm.edu.
Media Relations
The media relations team serves as the news bureau for the College and as the initial contact for reporters, producers and other media representatives seeking information about the College or wishing to interview faculty/staff experts.
Internal News
Our Internal Communications Group showcases accomplishments, events, news and special moments across the College with audience-targeted newsletters and other communications. Contact Dana Benson or call (713) 798-4710 to submit information.
Graphic Communications
The Graphic Communications team oversees production of a variety of materials ranging from business collateral and invitations to newsletters, scientific posters, brochures, educational materials and high-quality commercial publications. Marketing and Brand Management

Archives
The Baylor College of Medicine Archives is charged with preserving the history of the Baylor and its forbearers. The Archives accepts relevant donations from individuals, affiliates, departments, clinics and support organizations of papers, photographs, negatives, clippings, films, videos, CDs, DVDs, blueprints, maps, plats, memorabilia, books, etc.
