As a laboratory like no other, space allows us to study the body's response to extreme challenges and learn how we can stay healthy in even the harshest of environments. By studying how the body adapts and responds, we can work to solve fundamental questions about human health and well-being and uncover advances for health and healthcare delivery for all.

TRISH Strategic Plan

Media Component
Lunar Gateway Concept
Content

Humans exploring deep space will be physically, intellectually, and emotionally challenged in ways beyond our current understanding. The institute invests in health and human performance research and technologies to overcome spaceflight hazards and successfully complete their missions. Landing women and men on the moon and Mars and returning them home healthy calls for reinvention of healthcare, so it can be delivered off planet.

In TRISH’s strategic plan we outline six, prioritized goals to advance our mission and help all humans thrive in deep space.
