About the Program
The Rheumatology Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine educates and fosters the development of outstanding rheumatologists. Our program is a two-year ACGME-accredited fellowship designed to prepare physicians for careers in clinical practice, clinical education and/or research.
Fellows are instructed in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal diseases, systemic autoimmune conditions and other rheumatic diseases. The comprehensive, multidisciplinary didactic curriculum and patient-oriented teaching provides fellows with mastery of the clinical and therapeutic aspects of rheumatic disease as well as a fundamental understanding of the current paradigms of immunopathology of autoimmune and musculoskeletal diseases.
