Content

Due to the passing of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Simplification Act on Dec. 20, 2020, the United States Department of Education will be making significant changes to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The purpose of these changes is to simplify the process of applying for financial aid. Baylor College of Medicine strongly supports this effort and we want to keep you abreast of the new process and changes to that process.

The FAFSA will be released to students on Dec. 31, 2023. The Financial Aid Office will not, however, be receiving any electronic information of data until the end of January (exact date TBD).  This will delay the posting of aid offers for July of 2024.  We will inform you immediately once we know more about the projected date that FAFSA will communicate with us.
