The Section of Atherosclerosis and Vascular Medicine is committed to advancing the evolving knowledge base on lipid disorders, atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, and other cardiometabolic disorders.
The section offers a Preventive Cardiology Fellowship to train physicians who will become future leaders in the prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis. The program focuses on fundamental knowledge, clinical skills, presentation skills, and character/ethics.
The section also holds a weekly conference series that includes lectures on core topics, guest speakers, and journal club presentations on key recent research.
