About the Program
The Pediatric Craniofacial Surgery Fellowship Program at Baylor College of Medicine is a one year program non-ACGME accredited program, which is approved by the Texas Medical Board. The fellowship program and Texas Children’s Hospital has been in existence since 2012. The program is situated at the Texas Medical Center and the largest children’s hospital in North America.
A weekly didactic lecture series provides the fellow with structured didactic curriculum with lectures by core fellowship faculty as well as invited speakers from other affiliated specialties (Genetics, Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology, and Neurosurgery).
The training program also offers ample opportunity to conduct research focused on clinical outcomes in cleft and craniosynostosis, including research on Patient-Reported Outcome (PRO) and Quality of Life (QOL) metrics for cleft patients and novel morphometrics to evaluate outcomes in craniosynostosis reconstruction.

- Cleft lip and palate (from infancy to adulthood)
- Craniosynostosis
- Craniofacial syndromes
- Dentofacial deformity
- Orthognathic surgery
- Vascular anomalies
- Congenital hand
- Facial paralysis
- Brachial plexus
- Peripheral nerve
- Pediatric microsurgery
