Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center
Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center is jointly owned by Baylor College of Medicine and Common Spirit Health and is part of the CHI St. Luke’s Health System. In addition to the current 850-bed hospital, construction is underway on a second bed tower at the new facility on the McNair Campus in the Texas Medical Center. In the coming years, all inpatient services will transition to Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center – McNair Campus. The medical staff at Baylor St. Luke’s includes full-time Baylor faculty members and advanced practice providers, as well as community physicians. Their excellence in patient care has earned the hospital recognition in a number of specialties.
Texas Children’s Hospital
Texas Children's Hospital is an internationally recognized children's hospital and the primary pediatric training site for Baylor College of Medicine, which has one of the largest pediatric residency programs in the country. Baylor faculty also are the service chiefs and staff physicians of Texas Children’s. Texas Children’s is ranked in all ten subspecialties in U.S. News & World Report’s list of America’s Best Children’s Hospitals and earned a top spot in Parents magazine's 10 Best Children's Hospitals.
Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center
The Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center has been affiliated with Baylor College of Medicine since 1949. Today it is one of the VA's largest hospitals, serving Harris County and 27 surrounding counties. Veterans from around the country are referred to MEDVAMC for specialized diagnostic care, radiation therapy, surgery, and medical treatment including cardiovascular surgery, ophthalmology, nuclear medicine, and treatment of spinal cord injury and diseases. The majority of physicians at MEDVAMC are Baylor College of Medicine faculty and MEDVAMC serves as a major teaching center for Baylor College of Medicine trainees.
Ben Taub Hospital
Ben Taub Hospital is the largest hospital in the Harris Health System and provides an impressive range of services, from outpatient general medicine and pediatric clinics, to the most complicated surgical procedures. U.S. military personnel from the Air Force, Army and Navy have used Ben Taub Hospital to train their surgeons in advanced trauma care. Ben Taub Hospital is the central clinical care facility of the Harris Health System, serves as a teaching hospital for all specialties and their subspecialties. The hospital's chief of staff and the chiefs of every medical and surgical service are full-time Baylor faculty members. Teaching rounds and conferences are held regularly.

The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston
The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston was the first burn center in the United States to be certified by both the ACS and ABA. UTMB Galveston/Shriners has the highest survival rate of patients with major burn inquiries (greater than 80%). UTMB opened in 1891 as the nation’s first public medical school and hospital under unified leadership—already a pioneer. What began as one hospital and medical school building in Galveston is now a major academic health sciences center of global influence, with medical, nursing, health professions and graduate biomedical schools; a world-renowned research enterprise; and a growing, comprehensive health system with hospitals on four campuses and a network of clinics.
