Dr. Zhang, whose research focuses on breast cancer metastasis, joined Baylor College of Medicine in June 2011. He is a member of the Lester & Sue Smith Breast Center at Baylor. Prior to his appointment at Baylor, he was a research associate in the Cancer Biology and Genetics Program at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, where he conducted research since 2006. He received a bachelor's of science degree in genetics and genetic engineering from Fudan University in Shanghai and a doctorate from Columbia University. It was after receiving his doctorate that he decided to focus on breast cancer in his post-doctoral research. View profile.
