The Section of Immunology, Allergy and Rheumatology provides excellent mentored research training for postdoctoral fellows in our research labs. Research training is available through National Institutes of Health Training Grants in immunology, pulmonary and hematology/oncology. We offer exciting opportunities that allow our students to make impressive impacts in their field of study. Interested candidates should review our web pages on research, the Biology of Inflammation Center, and our faculty’s interests.
Research training for immunology graduate students and postdoctoral scientists (Ph.D. and M.D.) is available through a National Institutes of Health Training Grant (T32) in immunology. This grant supports trainees engaged in general immunology research as well as studies of allergic and rheumatologic disorders and other inflammatory conditions. Trainees are expected to commit a minimum of two years to the training program at a minimum commitment of 75 percent effort. The training program includes didactic instruction and personalized training in all aspects of scientific career building and management.
