What is the Vestibular System?
Helen S. Cohen, EdD, OTR, FAOTA, professor at the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, describes the vestibular system and its various functions.
For over three decades, BCM investigators have pioneered the diagnosis and management of sensorimotor pathophysiology and to rehabilitation protocols for communicative disorders. Active research efforts, coupled to intensive clinical diagnostic and rehabilitative protocols have impacted thousands of patients in the Houston community and continue to expand investigations of balance disorders in both the adult and pediatric patient populations.
