The application deadline is Nov.1 but it is highly recommended that your application is completed before Oct. 15, as we usually begin interviews at the end of October. Applications for all position types must be submitted via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) which is a program of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC).
Baylor College of Medicine requires all applicants to meet the terms for a Physician-in-Training permit or Texas state license as outlined by the Texas Medical Board. Recruited physicians must obtain either a permit or license prior to entering the program. The department will guide you through the application process once you have accepted a position.
The ERAS application includes the following items. No additional items are required for the initial application.
- Photograph
- MSPE (Dean's Summary)
- Medical School Transcript
- USMLE transcript*
- Letters of Recommendation (a minimum of three)
- Curriculum Vitae and Personal Statement
- Valid ECFMG certificate (For IMGs only)
